Everything passed off nicely, nad the
only criticism we heard was, that it was
too short. All the girls took their parts
very well & some of them actually
looked pretty.
Fri. Apr 1st
This morning the Executive committee
of the K?] met at Lucy Robinson's
at 9:30 to discuss plans for the coming
K[?] & at 10:30 the regular monthly
meeting of the managers was held. In
the afternoon I had to go down to see
Mrs. Heyman about organizing a dancem
but found her out, so went up to see
Cornelia for a while, as she is in bed
with grippe & is quite sick. Hustled
home from there & went to Mrs.
Townsend's card partyi. It was almost
impossible to keep my mind on the cards
for K?] plans kept running through
my head, all afternoon. The prizes were
lovely, but I was not luckyi enough to
get one. Wrote in the evening.
Sat. Apr 2nd
Hustled around and accomplished a
lot before nine o'clock, as Lucy Robinson
was due about three to discuss some
plans. After she left I went down town
& looked up Mrs. Heyiman & got her
