sheep goats etc. good meals. hundreds
of our boys on leave in best hotels..
Took car down. day perfect. train to
Lourdes. saw rest of city., train to Pau
stayed all night.
April 24
Visited aviation field in Pau & city
lively city at foot of Pyrenees. took
train. beautiful ride to [cette?] Alps
on one side. Med. on other. stopped
at Cas. saw ruins arrived at
Toulouse in evening. tired, hotel
poor. city where are boys are in
school. April 25
Train early in morning. beautiful
ride up Rhone valley. Avignon- Lyon
