Mary stayed awake nearly all night

last night as usual -- Then slept

until noon -- which was unusual.

Mother, Mary & I were down Xmas

nearly all afternoon. I brought goosds

for a white dress & two gingham

dresses & gingham for four aprons

for Mary. Marnie & John were up

again tonight. We all knitted.

Harry returned this eve. Received

a letter from Prof. Preyer -- saying he

would be our guest next month.

the grate fire reading. Mary added

from looking at the pictures in the

newspaper. She calls it "brella."
