Friday, March 22, 1918
Harry left this morning to be gone
two days. I took mary to the
barber to have her hair trimmed but
she yelled so loud I didn't get it
done. mother & I took her to the
movie this afternoon and she
cut up the same way. Have
played with her all evening.
She walked alone this evening
for the first time.
Saturday, March 23, 1918
I sat up until 1:30 last night
and read a love story "Heart's
Enchanted." Went to the Alpha
indoor picnic at 1 P. M. and
Mrs. McKee's. Given as a sort
of farewell to Miss Perry. We
had our usual jolly time. Didn't
get home until five o'clock. There
were a world of funny stories
& conundrums told.
