Thursday, May 23, 1918
Cleaned upstairs this morning. Mrs.
Dalton invited Mother & I to a
party this afternoon to meet her
daughter. She had an enjoyable
musicale program. Mary was as
good as gold. This evening Mrs.
Flynn's took Mother & I to the
H. S. to class day exercises. They
gave a "Bachelor's Reverie" and it
was fine.
Friday, May 24, 1918
Down stairs was given the cleaning
this a. m. Had a cantten committee
meeting until five o'clock.
Played out with Mary all evening --
at leasst until 9 o'clock. Then
put on my party clothes and
went over to L[?] to a house
dance. Had a good time.
