Baked nut bread & cooked beets
for the Alpha's tomorrow. Mother
had the aid society this afternoon.
Have sold 40 tickets now.
Mary & I strolled around
with them this eve and had
nice visits with differenct

Wednesday, June 5, 1918
Spent the day getting ready for
the Alpha outdoor picnic for
Mrs. Waite. They met with me
at 4 P. M. At six we served
supper in the yard. They stayed
until nearly eight. Was [surely?]
tired. Harry returned tonight.
Brought mother & I each a box
