The three Rowland sisters gave
a 7:30 o'clock breakfast at the
station for Ruth to see her off --
14 girls. We had a lively time
and gave Ruth the best send
off we could without a groom.
Came home & cleaned upstairs.
Knitted this afternoon & evening.
Letter from telling me about
Katherine [Owings].

Harry got home at 4 a. m. -- the
night before about 2. It keeps
me rather wakeful. We cleaned
downstairs. After dinner I knitted.
Have half a sweater done --
started it on Tuesday. Katie
took us for a short ride this
eve. Mary feels good and
happy these days and I do
enjoy her so much and love
her more each day.
