Marnie baked a cake & cooked
beans. Brought them all up here.
I made a freezer of
ice-cream & so John & Marnie
were here for dinner & supper.
Knitted most of the afternoon --
am going down the back of
my sweater. Wrote Chas. David.
Marnie & I went to the Canteen
House to help serve a troop
train. They were mostly boys
just 21 years ofd. They enjoyed
what we did for them.
