Got up early. Baked cake, coffee
bread, made mayonnaise gathered
carrots, fixed beets, peeled
tomoatoes. Got everything ready
for dinner. Then went to Miss
Dorsey's for a hair treatment.
Miss Perry had dinner with us.
She stayed until 3:30. Then
I dressed Mary & hustled into
very good dress. Because we were
invited to a party at Helen [Pipe"s?]
for Mary Osgood. Had a ride
with the Humphrey's this eve. Letter

A very hot Sunday again. Read
all afternoon. Took Mary
out walking tonight. Met the
Jim's Reid's. They came on
home with me and visited
awhile.
