Cleaned downstairs. Made ice-cream
& had chicken for dinner. John &
Marnie came & ate with us.
Read & knitted this afternoon.
Mary had fever all day and
wanted me near. I had to go
to the Canteen awhile this eve
so took Mary with me.

Mother & I were sitting on the
porch steps sweltering this eve --
when about 9:30 a wonderful
cool breeze came up. Had Dr.
Broadman to see Mary tonight.
She still has fever and feels
badly. Henry went to K. C. to
be gone two days.
