Mary & I were town town awhile
shopping this a. m. and again this
eve. She ran along the
street looking in every window
having a good time. Finished
very 6th sweater this afternoon.

Sunday, July 21, 1918
Read the papers this a. m. Mrs.
McKee invited Harry, Mary & I
to drive to the country club
with her -- because Geo. & Fl[?]
[Barcus?] was here. We went
out at 4 and stayed until 8:30.
It was delightfully cool and
Mary thoroughlyi enjoyed it.
Got our supper after we came
home.
