Monday, July 22, 1918
At five minutes of eight this
morning, Mother & I were doing
the dishes. Something was said
about going to K. C. I said, "I'll
go with you. Mary was in
bed asleep. The train left at
8:25 and we made it. had
three hours in K. C. to shop.
Each bought some shoes. Mary
was as good as could be and
seemed to enjoy it all. Came
back on the Limited. Harry
met us.
Tuesday, July 23, 1918
Wrote the [Chab. . .?], Ella, Mary Mc
and Bess C. this morning.
Went to Miss Dorsey's for a
scalp treatment. Stella was
here this afternoonn and stayed
for supper.
