Very hot all day -- darned -- read
played out in the yard with Mary.
We had the water on. Harry & I
were up street awhile this eve --
took her up to see Dr. B. This
hot weather isn't doing her any
good. Harry brought a quart of
ice cream. We found Geo., Lewis
& Geo., Jr. here when we got back.
Thursday, Aug. 8, 1918
We entertained Ida Bowen, Dr &
Mrs. Broadman at dinner today.
Ida spent the afternoon wtih us.
