Harry was out of town all day.
I mended numerous things about
the house. Then Mother, Mary
& I went up town and ate "dinner"
at the Cafeteria. Had some
business to do at the bank.
Geo. Jr. was here for supper.
Mother kept Mary this eve.
Harry & I had a good time going
to the picture show. Had to
go to a meeting of the Captains
of the Canteen at 8:45. We are
to wear a veil head dress.
Sunday, Sept. 15, 1918
Rainy but enjoyable Sunday.
We all dined at the Matthewson's
Hotel. Had a major at our
table. Read the papers all
afternoon.
