Home again and always glad to
get back. Left Lawrence at 10:30
A. M. We met Stella in K. C.
and had dinner at [Emery, Birds?]
Shopped afterward. Bought a
small hat for myself. We
had dinner on the diner on
the way back. Mother & Harry
met us. Letter from Charlie.
Wednesday, Sept. 25, 1918
A rainy day. After the work was done
Mary & I mwent over & visited with
Katie awhile. Started a new sweater
this afternoon. Got the
done. Read awhile. Then called
on Anna Reid until six. Knitted
some more this eve. Pasted the
pictures of Mary taken up North
in her book.
