Was at the Canteen early this A. M.
Had about 70 soldiers. Mary didn't
feel very well so I did not go back
this evening but stayed with her.
It seems to me I live in continued
fear that something will happen to
her. Knitted quite a little.

We cleaned house today. Had all
the windows washed, fresh curtains
up, etc. When we were done I
read the papers. Then knitted -- am
going down the back of my 9th
sweater. Took Mary out for a
walk. This is the 12th night
Harry has been away from home.
