Rained all day and evening. We cleaned
downstairs this A. M. I made ice-
cream. Managed to get down town
late this afternoon and get something
to eat for Had a dandy
beef steak supper for Harry. The
electric lights went out about
8:30, so we had to retire. Turned
the clock back an hour.

Harry was called out to a wreck at
3:30 A. M., so didn't get that extra
hour of sleep. Another gloomy day
and quite cold. The gas
was very low too but we managed
to cook a good dinner. Read the
paper and a book "On Furlough."
Geo. Katie & children dropped in
for supper.
