This has been an extremely blustery
day. The wind blew a perfect
hurricane. So we didn't
vernture any place. Started
to read Gene Stratton Porter's
new book "A Girl of the Land."

Stayed at the P. O. from 11:30 until
4 P. M. inspecting, wrapping
the soldiers Xmas packages.
Wrapped about twenty. So I was
quite busy. Came home took
Mary out for a walk. Mother &
I celebrated tonight by going to
the picture show. Harry & Mary
had a good time building block
houses while we were away.
