there but a little while, had

got her up stairs in bed, and

went down stairs for something

and when she went back

found her dead. Frank Procter's

mother was burned a few

days ago so badly that she died.

Mrs Davis had been out of the

room but a little while and

coming back found the flames

streaming up to her head. She

went to get something near the

stove and her drees took fire.

She was in great distress for

two or three hours, but the doctor

gave her something that made

her sleep and she lay so until

she died. I have got to answer

three other letters and must

colse. Give my love to aunt Susan
