     I received your letter

and minature for wich I thank

you much, I have been wateing to see

what they were going to do with me

but cant find out till the next ins

pection, I have been acting Sergent of

the guard, for the last two weeks

and was relieved yesterday by the

Invalid Corps, and am now back

in my ward, and shall write

to you regualerly.

You done first rate on your machine

for the first week. We shall probaly

be paid of in the course of fifteen

or tweenty days,

I dont think they will send

me to my regt yet awhile any

how I have been first rate ever

since I come back, but I want

to go up to the Union Reading Room
