My own dear girl

                         Yesterday

I received a letter from you

encloseing one from Clara, and

I wish she would write me every

time you do as 'twill learn her

to compose as well as write

and give her confidence in

herself. I will answer hers the

next time I write and also

Luella's We have been quite

bussy the last week and to

day asorting our Bagage. noting

each Regiments by itself and

getting Wood. as the weather has

been quite cold and we dont

draw one quarter enough from

the Goverment to keep four
