          Tullahoma Tenn. March 27./64

Dear E.

    I received a letter from you

yesterday, makeing the third since

I left home. The weather is getting to

be good again, and the boys enjoy

first rate health generaly. Altho we

lost one out of Company "[?]C." the

other day. he died with feaver and

was confined to his bed but three

days. He belonged in Tewkesbury

I think. and makes the second one

that has died out of the regiment

since it came into Tennessee.

And that is saying considerable

for the health of the regiment and

the healthfulness of the climate.

We have had rumors that we are

going to move for a week past and

now they say we are going this week

and appearances look much like it.
