                  Tullahoma Tenn April 15th 1864

Dear E___a

           I received a letter from

you this morning writen April the 3d and

was glad to hear from you and sorry to

learn that the children were so sick, but

we must hope for the best, And I'm in

hopes this will find them better for

your sacke as well as thiers, Tell them

I wish I could be home with them,

but must wate some time yet altho

I dont think we shall have to stop

over a year from this. And time flies

very fast, and twelve months will soon

pass away, I wrote to you and Farthe

the other day but in all probability you

will never see the letters as the male

train was run of the track into the river,

and I shall write again to day.
