Dear father
It has been a long
time since I have heard from you
I have writen three letters home that
I have not heard from Albros letter
is the onely one that I have got
from home since I got my pay and
I feel a little uneasy about it for I
sent some money to Charlie and I
think I ought to have heard from it
two weeks ago I sent it to Mr Dow
at East Randolph it was sent with
the rest of the companys it was in
an envelope and directed to Charlie
there was thirty seven dollars and
one half the seven dollars and half
was gold the other boys heard from
theirs in five days after they sent
it if you have not got it I should
be glad to have you go and get it
