Nothing special happend today
we discharged camp duties as usual
Dec 12th I was on centry duty to day
and night I caut two of the cent
inals asleep and waked them up
and cautioned them to
ttend to their bis of I would report
them and not risk my off of my
post to wake them up
Dec 13th I wrote a letter this fore noon
and drilled this after noon there
was a large balloon passed over
our camp yesterday It was quite
a sight. Dec 14th We drilled as
usual to day and I went on dress
parade at night and after that was
over I read two or three chapter in
my bible andnd went out to roll
call at half past eight and then
went to bed with my comrads
