you to write to me and let me

know the names of the Lawyers

who live in Fayetteville who are

Responsible men and can be

Relied on he wants Some busines

done Relative to the Settlement of

an Estate in Some County above

Fayetteville he marreed a widow

who Once lived in N. C. She was

Once the wife of Dr Stedmon

if you will write to me as Soon

as you Receive this and Send to

me the Desired information you

will oblige one whom I Esteem as

a Friend you need not Say any

thing about my writing to you

on this Subject it is now late

at nite please Excuse this Short

letter and I will try and do better
