Dear Sister

 

       Having a few leisure

minutes I concluded that I would

answer your always welcom letters

I have nothing of any interest

to write.  I have left Rose and

am rooming with Mr. Arnold

Wright of Goldsboro fomerly of

Fayettevill he is a very nice young

man as you would term him  I

will carry him to Fayetteville at

vacation when you can have a

chance of seeing him  he has a

very fine moustache and spike

tail coat.  I herd a splendid

sermon this morning by Dr Craven

and went down and got a very

nice dinner  tell Ma that she

will not have to hear Mr. McDaniel

much longer as I expect to
