heard from you through Mr Cohen

who gives a glowing account of your

Operations on Wall Street, of course

I appeared ignorant & was greatly Surprised

but he has "let out the cat" as to what

you are doing.  Dick Thornton is doing

all the business below the Market his

Store is crowded nearly all the time,

I heard he took in between $400. &

$500. Last Friday  I have never been in

to see him and do not expect to as

I hear he keeps a 2 Gallon jug of Popskull

always full – free for Friends & Customers

If that be the case his prosperity will

soon end.  Your Father says he is
