Dollars in their pockets and Stick a cent

Cigar in their Huckleberry traps then strut

around like an "Astor" Swearing at the

Shop keepers for offering goods at reasonable

Prices vowing they can buy goods in Clinton

for what is less than N.Y. Whole sale prices

"Well My Dear Sir why dont you go to

Clinton!"  "Oh they wont give me enough

for My" Produce!"  I asked a man the Question

Myself be cause he wanted good Prints at 10 cts

& the above was his answer.  The Jasack could not

see the mutual benefit that would result in

trading in this place,  But I think I

am getting better Some of my old customers

are finding me out, & one of your regular

Customers told me that he thot you had left

& he thot some new Yankee had got in so

he never stoped  And I've no doubt

that has been the case with many not a

day passes but I see people stop & look in

when I ask them in they go on.  for that

reason you ought to have a Sign,
