    I am keeping a diary of events here are

they occur and of my own life I have some good

things to record but I withhold them here as they

will be presented to you in a pamphlet form by

your intended himself. By the way my darling

I had not been here two days before Mr Dell (my

old Boss) sent for me - (he had heard from a

friend of mine Dr Gaines I was here) and I

obtained a pass and took tea with him both

he and his amiable wife (my adopted mother

I might say for her disinterested kindness to me)

were highly delighted to see me - they want me to

go and live with them again as soon as my time

is out here, but I will consider of that, my time

here will perhaps be years and if so I shall stay

because I shall make more here than any where

Else - I have a variety of news to give you all

in my journal but that is reserved for the future
