Dear Friend Celia

               Your kind letter was received

to day, I was so pleased to hear from you,

I did not expect a letter so soon from you because

I know Mr Tweed was there, and of course you

could not occupy your time in writing to me

when he was there, I should like to see him

very much indeed, but I suppose I cannot, is

he going back to England again right away?

Celia I hope before you get ready to go you

will let me know? now will you? I guess I

will have to inform the Hospital steward

what do you suppose he would say to that?

would he do as Brother does? but that time

is past and gone never to return I hope

while time lasts, Oh Celia how I would like

to see you I have so much to tell you I guess

we would lie awake longer than we generally did

when I slept with you, if I ever sleep with

you again. I went to Chicago last saturday

to visit Katie and we went down to camp

Douglas and we was going to the other camp
