we had a visiter to see us last summer from Canaday it

was uncle David Burmingham it was twenty five years

since he left Belleville.  I had some little recollection of

him.  he told is that his family is doing well his Daugter

Jame was with him  She is now the widow of a Mr Logan

it seamed that he was engaged by the government in

building fortifications and had considerabe to do at the time

of his death, uncle davy says she is pretty wealthy.  She

resembles us very much in looks.  I have removed the remains

of our Mother to the Cemetery where I bought a lot this was

done shortly after you went away. the lot is No Eighteen

the place is very respectable, it is nearly opposite the nursery

on the Belleville road. we have had but little improvements

in town since you was here except the gass of which lights

up the Stores, Churches, Halls, and other buildings. we may

have it in the Streets some of these days.  George has a

Son about two month old. Edwerd Colberson died five weks

ago quite suden.  Molly Francisco is almost gon with the consump

tion. Anthony nearly killed himself a few days ago, he is recover

ing pretty fast. We have given up the house we occupy and

think of going to board after the first of April if so I think

the Furniture that I have, of whch part belongs to the Family had

better be divided or sold.  I wish you would decid and let me know

soon as you can.  we all send our love to you and Mary and would
