12.30 we arived Tours
6.45 via truck we passed
Nancu and St. Aignant.
on our way over
these are very nice cities
Tours is about 500 thousand
now but in piece times
not quite so large.
I was standing on a
Bridge over the Loire
River at Tours when
the old year went out
and the New Year of 1919
came in at 12 OClock
night.
we left Tours at 1 in
the morning and
reached Pruniers at
7 in the morning of Jan 1sy
