Day Thomas Alva Edison, Born 1847-1st Sunday in Lent to come
clear, mnice day. Sammy took Kenny
to S.S. Dad & I at Church. quite
a number out [1?] Choir better
altho' Bud & Jessie not there.
After we came Home I got our
dinner at 1-30. Dad listened for
telephone air raid & alert 3-30 then
all clear. 3-45. I helped Sammy measure
for curtains then Dad & I up
to see Bobby. They all have colds
but didn't seem too bad. She would
have us stay for a bite, her cake
was lovely then we came Home
at 7. Dad enjoys teliv. I think
wish he would get one if he
wants it. Ma [L?] here when
we got Home. She & [El.?] had been
up to Hospital.
