Day Ember Day to come
clear & cold. Boys at Carrigan's.
Dad to Bank to cash checks.
Sammy, Kenny & I shopping. I got
piece in Grant's for apron, also
blue stripe for house dress. Home
by 11-45. After Kenny took a nap
we went to Smith's. Kenny don't
seem good & has much more cold
He stayed down with me till supper
time. I went to bed early, almost
12-30 Bud came hunting pans to
put hot water in bed. R. Kenny has
bad Croup, can't get his breath.
I went up, poor little fellow was
really laboring, so I called Dr. H
at 1-30. He said he would come out
which he did. so nice of him. Gave
him pill to rest him & fever pill.
