Raining or almost look like mean
day for Picnic. Dad up to see house
with Wallace. Bud working on

I made potato salad, ice-tea,
cut cabbage & celery for slaw, [??Lenny?]
made dressing for it. got things
to-gether if we can go. Joe stopped
in & I told him to get paper at Church.
Came on rain, too wet to take Mama.
& Kenny disappointed as Bud was taking
him in [???] if it had been clear.
Dad & I left at 4-15, picked Aneta up
& on out. helped Joe set table. surely wet.
[Samy?] & Kenny came at 5-45. Bud had
to go to Eachus. Bob & Ethel & Bobb came
a 6. We ate promptly as Dr. & Mrs
came at 6.
