February 18
The sun actually shone
and it was a beautifully
spring like day. After lunch
we rolled bandages for
an hour in the Red Cross
room and then prepared to
hibernate in the library. Our
good spirits got the better
of us however and we
went to the movies instead
to see Deanna Durbin in
“His Butler’s Sister”! It was
quite good. she’s really grown
up since her first pictures.
Franchot Tone was good too,
though emaciated.
We were supposed to have
pledging tonight but Lois and
Ginnie are both sick, and it
was cancelled.
