     I spent the afternoon in the

Library and in attempting to

study for tomorrow’s Money

and Banking exam (we have

no book, and incoherent notes,

so it’s like studying out

of the blue – with Nuquist,

anything’s possible!) – We had

song practice. – a sorority

gettogether for war work

(scrapbooks and knitting) –

and meeting with installation

of new officers.  It was

properly impressive.

     A 14-page letter from Bill

Brennan – he seems to have been

enjoying himself lately up at

Old Forge, etc. – went home for weekend

     Kay was elected vice-pres.
