April 19
I went to classes this morning
and fooled around this afternoon.
– nothing new or exciting with
either; but then tonight Cary
and I doubledated; mine, blind,
and Dick Burbank, an ensign
from Peary. We went down to
the officer’s Club at the
Inn and danced and drank
rum cokes all evening. It was
fun and a good time was
had by all. Dick expects
to ship out any day, but
it is fun while it lasts.
