June 24

     It was so pleasant to

lazy around this morning

without having to get up

and go to work, and I relished

it indeed.

     This afternoon I did

little but write letters

and read O. Henry stories.

     This evening I went

over to Glory’s to play

bridge with her Aud and

Irene. It was sleepily

hysterical and we had a

good time.

     Evie wrote me a letter

and Paul Jones sent a

card from Hawaii.
